I agree I should be able to do 1:44.5 (or better) for a
mile. I'll have to try the 20' warm-up and another mile. I might vote for the
mile for April when we get to choose the CTC challenge.
I didn't attempt
the 300m cold start. Just went for a 25K UT2 @25SPM HR < 155 session this
morning. Really enjoyed that 101mins of no pain steady rowing.

Allready some great performances in the
CTC:
Owen - fine effort to get so close to Jon Goodall - He has sprint
pedigree.
Krysta - great to see you slot in where Carla left off (Will Carla
really be able to resist competition for 1 whole month?)
Mrs T - Another top
row, sub 1 min goal for month end?
Daren, well done on the weight loss -
I think I've lost about 10 grams, so I'm on the way too!
Tidy.
Mrs T
just did exactly 1min temporarily displacing Krysta, I am sure this battle won't
end here.

Just checked up on the CTC website. Good show on your new
300m time, Helen Tilley!
Hopefully we can have some friendly sparring for boat
position this month... until Carla's feeling better, and reclaims it! (We'll
just keep the seat warm for you, Carla)
The competitive bit of me wants
to jump on the erg right now and see what I can do, but it's 3:00am and I'm sure

I remember
Nelson in the rankings a few years ago and he was always way ahead of me. I am
glad he is recovering and doing well.
Doctors coerced, belittled,
threatened me and said I'd be dead in 30 days unless I did all their surgery,
chemo, radiation and all that other crap that they do and that I'd have a 50%
chance to live 5 years if I did. I told them to SHOVE it and walked
out.
I have no use for any of the greedy and ignorant medical
quacks. !!!!
Hey, Nelson, keep getting
better and all the best.

Good point -
it's not
actually coded into the SELECT statement that the earlier time
takes precedence, but I think it should be. At the moment it's just dependent
upon how mySQL decides to sort them (the only ordering clause currently is by
result value). I'll add submission time to that, though, I think.

We had 14
players of our grand slam squad missing, many of them regulars, just goes to
show that with proffesionalism the game is getting to be a far greater strain on
the players body's. Scotland may well be the next Wales, listened to an

Hi all
just wanted to introduce
myself and ask if there was any room for another member of the Taff Attack
crew?
I 'qualify' by way of a Cardiff mum and dad and a peverse desire to
get hold of a Taff Attack all-in-one suit.
cheers

Just to explain, I rode my push
bike in to work today - sneaking some extra training in! Chippy (ex carpenter)
is now responsible for all the roads where I work. He laid some new Tarmac on a
corner - I came piling into it, and thought "Man that Tarmac looks nice and
new", I wanted a close up view of it, but forgot to slow down - so ended up
sliding cross the road at 30kph in LYCRA.
Just glad my good friend came
over to help me pick the gravel out of my leg.
All Day - "Whats blue and
full of holes?" - "Chris's new cycling kit"

Good work everybody on the 300m!
Tulky: welcome
aboard! have fun with the CTC challange. the 300m is easy!!!
Chris: the h*** with your leg, how is your bike!!?
I am racing
my first 2k (since my first retirement from rowing in 1990) so I will be saving
myself for the big day. If I still want to ever get on an ergo again I will take
a crack at the 300m after sunday.
Whats a push bike anyway?
